| Each Visit includes: |
| 1. |
Feeding and watering. This is mostly for the herbivorous
species, but can go for sliders and some other water turtles, too. For snakes,
I will only feed frozen thawed prey items for the safety of your snake. Sorry,
there are no exceptions. |
|
| 2. |
Monitoring heating and lighting equipment. As you reptile
owners know, if a light goes out, it is important to make sure they get
replaced in a timely fashion. If not, your reptile could catch a chill and get
sick. Please have back-ups available. If I have to make a pet store run, it’ll
cost you $15 plus the cost of the equipment. |
|
| 3. |
Monitoring filtration systems. This is mostly applicable to
water turtles. If your filter gets clogged or malfunctions, I will do my best
to figure out the problem. If I can’t, I can call a repairman or buy a
replacement. Details can be provided on the pet care worksheets as far as what
plan of action you would like me to take. The same $15 fee applies to any pet
store run. It’s never a bad idea to have a replacement filter available just in
case. |
|
| 4. |
Monitoring drip systems. Same as above. |
|
| 5. |
Misting for added humidity. Moistening materials in
humidity box or just misting the enclosure for those species with high humidity
requirements that do not have access to an automatic mister. |
| 6. |
Cleaning. This is a very individual preference item. Some
reptile owners don’t like to disturb or stress their reptile and are on a less
frequent cleaning regime. Whatever your preference, just let me know. |
